How to buy J.League tickets as a foreigner

Most big J.League clubs in Tokyo and Osaka now sell through an official English ticket site. Here is how it works.

Easy EN Typical buying difficulty for visitors

The short version

Step by step

  1. Open the club's “BUY TICKETS” link from the J.League English ticket page (we link it on every match card).
  2. Choose the match, the seat type and the number of tickets.
  3. Enter your details and email, then card details.
  4. Confirm, agree to the terms and save the confirmation page.

Which seats?

J.League's own beginner guide splits seats into three types: the main stand (TV-style view, near the benches), the back stand (opposite side, usually cheaper — recommended for first-timers) and the goal-end sections, where the most passionate supporters stand and chant for the whole match.

Clubs without English sales

Some clubs (e.g. RB Omiya Ardija, Shonan Bellmare, SC Sagamihara) are not on the English list. Their tickets are on the Japanese J.LEAGUE TICKET site, which requires a free J.LEAGUE ID — a browser translator gets you through. We mark these games Translate.

Season note

From 2026/27 the J.League runs an autumn–spring season. In our data there are J1–J3 league fixtures through mid-December, then a winter break with no league games in January.
